The 6th of April is the International Day of Physical Activity (and the International Day of Sport at the Service of Development and Peace). One of the objectives is to show some of the benefits of regular physical activity, both for physical and mental health, as well as for social well-being.And this also means that it must be considered as a right and not a privilege only available to a few.The objective is to encourage the reduction of physical inactivity, demonstrating that there are also costs associated with 'doing nothing'. Implementing global, community policies or simply placing the individual as the agent of his own quality of life, a more active and conscious approach is promoted, which aims to educate for health and reduce pressure on Health Services. And this Health is considered at a comprehensive level: physical, mental and emotional.Whatever your favorite activity is (running, dancing, swimming, walking, cycling, washing dishes...),have fun and practice it with gusto. Take it one step at a time. The benefits outweigh other factors and you should feel in a better mood. And this serves as a support, because the next day is World Health Day...Note: On this day, New Beer's Eve is also celebrated, a kind of New Year's Eve, which celebrates and recalls the end of Prohibition in the USA.Celebrate (for example a birthday) and drink a beer, but always in moderation :)References:
