Breathing is one of the mechanical movements indispensable to life. This born gift, besides allowing us to put all systems working, is also tranquilizing.
With its rithm, it helps to balance the body in several situations, also acting at the level of the nervous system.
In these times, between pandemic diseases and other pressures for everyday life, many people have rediscovered their breath. Although inate, its importance has been relegated, and there has been an effort to educate people to breathe.
From meditation to conscient breathing, walks in the forest ou simply teach to correctly inspire and expire, several are the methods for the population to improve their breathing capabilities. The efects on relaxation and improvement on the imunitary system are well proven in several studies.
Bowen Therapy also uses breathing when applying its moves, since their are made mainly at the time when the pacient expires, that its when the body is more relaxed.
In the meantime: inspire for 4 seconds while rotating back your shoulders, and then expire for 6 seconds. Your heart beat should decreaseand you will feel more relaxed.
