Do you remember being told to sit straight at the table, or when you are working at the desk? Sometimes it is seen as a matter of politeness, or because they think it was the right thing to do so as not to hurt their backs. There are some myths about this topic, and other important things that should be mentioned. - Each column is different, so the curvature is something individual and the treatment of it must be individualized. Pain can be associated with posture, but it is important to analyze which posture is most suitable for you. There is no universal correct posture. - Each column tells a story, whether old or recent, and social or psychological factors also affect the structure of the body (eg work or emotional state). - A less upright posture is not synonymous with pain, but it can reveal a mechanism to escape it. Therefore, it is not wrong to assume the posture with which you feel best. Trust your column, and if it doesn't cause you embarrassment, it's best not to move :) - Although it is usually recommended to get up every 30 minutes, we know that doing so is not always possible. And if we are tired or working, we value a chair very much. The important thing is that you feel comfortable and move regularly. For example, it is not advisable to always be cross-legged, or even in fixed positions for a long time, as this will make it difficult to get up, or even cause other types of muscle injuries.
